CONDOMINIUM AND HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION LAW

The Doherty Law Firm, LLC represents condominium and homeowners associations, and works closely with their Board of Directors and property managers, regarding the collection of dues; compliance with and enforcement of the governing documents including the declaration, bylaws, and rules and regulations; and the creation and amendment of governing documents necessary to ensure the safe, productive, and amiable existence of the homeowner community. When necessary and appropriate, The Doherty Law Firm, LLC files court actions, including forcible entry and detainer lawsuits (commonly known as evictions) and lien enforcement actions, in order to effectively protect the association’s rights and remedies. Mark is also involved with long-term capital improvement projects; insurance matters; employment and management considerations; and contract review and negotiation.
